Saide Esra Akdoğan

Akdoğan, graduated with honors from the Faculty of Law at Ankara University and worked as a lawyer at one of Ankara's leading law firms, registered with the Ankara Bar Association. Additionally, Akdoğan studied for one year at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.

Akdoğan pursued the Advanced Master's Program in European and International Business Law at Leiden University as a Jean Monnet scholar funded by the European Union and graduated with honors (cum laude).

Akdoğan conducted doctoral research at the University of Groningen in the fields of EU external relations and sustainable development, completing a thesis titled "Decrypting Sustainability in EU Free Trade: Clarity and Enforceability of the Trade and Sustainable Development Chapters." With teaching experience in EU law, Akdoğan is a member of ICON-S Benelux and the Global Network for Human Rights and the Environment.

Currently, Akdoğan serves as a Lecturer and Researcher in the Law Group at Wageningen University (WUR) in the Netherlands.
